2017 Guatemala Trip

Join us February 7 - 16 for our 4th annual Fair Trade Judaica trip to Guatemala! Highlights include visiting seven fair trade artisan groups making Judaica (kippot, tallitot, banners, baskets), trying out the backstrap loom, learning about the Mayan culture, and spending Shabbat with the Orthodox and Reform Jewish communities! We already have 3 people signed up, so contact us soon if you’re interested.

FTJ’s Fair Trade B’nai Mitzvah Gift Collection

For those of you connected with synagogues, Fair Trade Judaica has created a beautiful and unique collection of B'nai Mitzvah gifts – Kiddush cup, Candle sticks, Torah yads, Tzedakah Box – which are available at bulk rate when a minimum of ten pieces are purchased; includes a handout for the Bar/Bat Mitzvah. Guilt Free Gelt

We’ve ordered a lot more gelt this year so there will be enough for everyone who wants this delicious and ethically produced treat. Sales begin November 1.

The gelt is available in milk or dark chocolate, with OU Dairy Kosher certification. Each order comes with Guilt Free Gelt stickers to attach to mesh bags, a kavannah, and a recipe for making chocolate sufganiot.
