Fair Trade Kosher for Passover Chocolate

“Virtual” Fair Trade Kosher for Pesach chocolate bar“The Jewish Reconstructionist Movement stands by this petition representing 107 congregations and over 70,000 members.”
- Rabbi Shawn Zevit

“It's time to secure decent working conditions for those who make our chocolate. We would never consent to our own children working with such unfair labor practices as do the children who harvest cocoa beans. In this time of Passover, let us love our neighbor as thyself.”
- Eve Eden

These are just two of the comments received from over 600 people who signed our petition for Fair Trade Kosher for Passover chocolate! Signatures came from a group of teens in Boulder, a synagogue in New York, a learning retreat in Cleveland, a Passover Seder in Berkeley, and hundreds of individuals. Help us reach our goal of at least 1,000 signatures by collecting signatures for the petition. If you’d like to get involved with the campaign, contact ilana@fairtradejudaica.org.
