Jewish Healing Flags
The inspiration for these Jewish Healing Flags emerged from repeated requests by people who saw our Jewish Blessing Flags and wanted just the “Healing Blessing Flag” to give to a friend or relative. Judaism has an ancient and strong custom of praying for people who are ill or injured; we include a communal Mi Sheberach prayer at Torah services. In recent years, a variety of healing prayers and songs have been composed; one of these, “Ana El Na Refah Na La”, is based on Moses’ spontaneous cry for his sister, Miriam: “El na, refa na la” – “Please Gd, heal her”, which is featured on the middle flag.
This unique set is composed of 5 individual flags, including the traditional El Na Refah Na La prayer, and evokes healing for body, mind, heart, and soul.
