Dewa (Indonesia)
Bone carving is the specialty of the village of Tapaksiring in Bali, Indonesia. Dewa has been carving for about twenty years. He originally carved tourist items but now he carves in many mediums and enjoys new opportunities to express his creativity. His skill is evident in his work with wood, bone, water buffalo horn, shell, and tagua nuts.
